SOME HISTORY: February 14^th was a holiday in the days of the Roman Empire in honor of Juno, the Goddess of women & marriage. It is also the day that St Valentine was martyred in 269AD - legend holds that he left a note for his Jailer’s daughter signed “from your Valentine”.

February 14^th became the date for exchanging love messages; flowers & gifts & St Valentine became the patron Saint of Lovers.
